Portrait Of Lotus 2

My original plan was to capture raindrops falling onto the lotus, but summer rains have lots of variables, when I arrived at the lotus garden it had been already stopped, so I started Plan B - So Be It. Otherwise, back home? That’s not an option for most photographers, I think.

My lotus series are always telling stories, life stories, whether you find it out or not, metaphors are always in the images, they are not just lotus photographs. Depend on your interpretation, they could be negative or positive, despite of my original thoughts ( Most of them are basically positive, in fact).

Portrait Of Lotus / 花的姿态

我是以经典肖像的方式去拍摄这张荷花作品的，其创作手法结合了去年以及2018年的创意，是一张我自认为“完美的”荷花肖像。

题外话，《花的姿态》是陈绮贞早些年的一首曲子，一直很喜欢，不过最新的一张专辑《沙发海》是目前我最爱的（也有很多年了……），那个甜美清纯的女孩已经成长，其音乐更加成熟，歌词字里行间透露出的心情更加惹人怜爱了。

Try Something New

循序渐进，相辅相成都不太好形容我在《荷》这个项目上所做的各种创意方面的改进。这个项目我放了从2012年以来的每一年有想法的东西，现在回看的时候才发现，很多现在的创意是基于往年的，稍加改进后成为了现在的样子，它们之间是相互联系的，不是脑洞一开冒出一个新点子，下一年再努力开次脑洞。一时间我想不出用什么词来描述这个像是循序渐进式的过程，总之就是这个意思。
