It’s a lake on a hillside of Yulong Snow Mountain reflecting woods around it, just like a impressionism painting.
Let's start a long journey / 云南，开篇
We arrived at Yulong snow mountain in a cold dusk, as usual it was a rainy day, the peaks which covering little snow were hidden by heavy clouds. The situation, rainy day, is so familiar to me -- every time I go to southern Anhui will face this weather condition. I talked to my wife: Am I in Yunnan or Anhui? So the photos below may be familiar to you - rain, mist, mountains, green trees, cold mood…You can find these elements in all my Southern Anhui series.
But don’t worry, it will be a sunny day tomorrow, after all, it’s Yunnan. I told myself.
来到玉龙雪山脚下，一如往常一样，我们遇到了雨天。雪山也没有看到，被浓浓的云雾遮住，这场面实在太熟悉了，每次我们去皖南不都是这样？开玩笑的和夫人说，我们是在安徽还是在云南？所以下面的照片里面可以看到我在皖南创作的作品中的一切元素，冷色调的云雾雨山树。
云南不是这样的吧，明天会是晴天的。
About Abstract
First of all, I’m post-processing large amount of photos of this Yunnan trip, maybe you find I have updated two of them in the Nature / Travel category, it’s just the beginning.
I’m lack of abstract thinking, let alone abstract photographing. I decided to improve such skills, and here are some exercises. Many artists insist that we shouldn’t title the abstract works, but I don’t think so, just for now.
